A formação do sistema penal brasileiro
Abstract
Resumo: O artigo objetiva discutir a formação do sistema normativo penal brasileiro, com levantamento histórico das normas penais, desde as Ordenações do Reino até o Código Penal de 1940, destacando os principais princípios e institutos.

Summary: This article aims to discuss the formation of the criminal Brazilian regulatory system, with historical survey of criminal law, the Offences from the United until the Criminal Code of 1940, highlighting the main principles and institutes.
